The question is, Do we have an improvement in the sound quality? I think the next obvious thing to do is to playback some tracks over the lightning ear pods and then compare that to a standard set of 3.5 mm earpods.
Standard authentic set of current guaranteeing earpods. When I try it. What happen you Think? the standard earpods sound way better. The sound on iphone 7 earoids and sound on the standard earpods. noticeably louder, bassier. I don't think these are legit at all. if I had to speculate right now, I would suggest the apple is not going to include a set of lightning earpods in the next iPhone.
The headphone jack will be dead. I think its gonna be up to you yo pick up either a third party, or maybe an accessory that's offical that Apple makes are couple of headphone option.
A marketing ploy, a marketing strategey, if you will to couse consumers to look at the headphone section of the Apple store or the website, think about immediately grabbing an upgrade and spending more per transaction. if out are on street, you are on the subway, on the a train, on an airpods you see these things everywhere. You owned beats, as well as Apple, you would be saying " how can we sell a pair of headphone with every iPhone ?".
