iPhone 10 Release Date 2017 and Anything You Need to Know

As one of the biggest techno companies, there is always a long line of people to wait to try the new gadget. The same thing also happens whenever Apple is going to release a new smartphone. The iPhone 10 was hype during the release date. Even though iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are also launched in similar time with all improvements from the previous version, but the Apple smartphone that everyone is getting crazy is, of course, the iPhone 10.
Also known as the iPhone 10 or also known as the iPhone X, marks the 10-years of iPhone journey. iPhone 10 indeed received the spotlight it deserved to get, but do you actually know about the iPhone 10 release date 2017 in Canada?
Release date

iPhone 10 was released on Friday, November 3, 2017, and the smartphone is available for pre-order starting from 24 October. However, many people said that the supplies of the new smartphone are very limited. Some people have to let their expectation down because the smartphone was sold out within hours from the pre-orders opening. This is all probably because of the new technologies it contained are new and relatively hard to make.

Uncover the truth behind iPhone 10
The limited production of iPhone 10 during the launching time may not simply because of the new technology. According to some sources, iPhone10 release date 2017 is not the scheduled release time. iPhone shifts the release date into 2017 for many reasons including to compete with other recently released Android phones in the very same year.
The release time shifting is a serious gamble for Apple to launch the iPhone 10. Considering the new technology it embodies such as TrueDepth camera sooner than it is supposed to be. For your information, the iPhone 10 was supposed to launch in 2018 because, in 2017, it is actually is the time for iPhone 8 and 8 Plus to get the attention.

What’s new in iPhone 10
The iPhone 8 is released in a relatively similar time to the iPhone 10 with far cheaper price and as powerful as the later. However, what makes iPhone 10 becomes more popular than the iPhone 8?
Both versions have lots of headline features, but any model that you choose, you will get the Apple’s ‘Bionic’ processor which is known as super-fast. Both models also feature fast charging, vastly improved camera, and also new augmented reality features. However, the iPhone X version seems to focus more on the screen and other new technology. Here are the specifications of iPhone X that you need to know.

All glass design – different from iPhone 7 which uses aluminum casing, the iPhone 10 uses all glass design. Glass casing is not a new thing for iPhone since they also use glass for iPhone 4 and 4s even though only for front and back panels. The iPhone 10 uses all glass design for better durability. However, the all-glass design seems to become some people issue since it cracks very easily when dropped.

Edge-to-edge display – one of the biggest changes that Apple made on iPhone 10 is it features beautiful edge-to-edge screen display. This means that the iPhone 10 will have a larger screen display but smaller in size of 5.8 inches screen width. Compared to iPhone 8, the 5.5 inches screen feels bigger as it still has more than 10 mm inches of bezels. The less-bezels design is actually what we have been wanting and iPhone finally brings it into reality.

OLED Display – besides the almost-no-bezel screen, Apple also features the OLED technology. OLED display is the highest of the LCD panels that are currently used in iPhones. The technology requires no backlight but it lights up the individual pixels when needed. This means the brighter white, blacker blacks, faster response time to regular LED display, and also lower power consumption.
TrueDepth Camera – the biggest spotlight of iPhone 10 is the TrueDepth camera. This feature allows users to unlock the phone with facial recognition system of fake ID. The depth-sensing technology allows the phone to map and recognize the users’ face even in the dark. Besides facial recognition, the technology also allows users to send animated emojis or ‘Animojis’ according to their facial expressions.

No home button – since the iPhone 10 uses edge-to-edge display, the home button is also removed as expected. Combined with the most recent iOS 11 software, the large touchscreen allows users to simply swipe up the bottom side to return to the Home screen.

Facial recognition – as aforementioned, the iPhone 10 features the TrueDept camera and face ID. The facial recognition is basically the replacement of the fingerprint scanner. The TrueDepth camera technology is a combination of dot projector, flood illuminator, infrared camera, and supported by A11 Bionic, which is Apple’s Ultra-fast processor, to accurately recognize and map the users’ face. Besides the main function of phone unlocks, the face recognition is also used for Apple Pay and also open access to secure the apps. The saved facial pattern is then protected by secure enclave and it is saved on the device instead of the cloud in order to keep the date ultra-safe. The face ID feature only unlocks the device when the users look at it and prevent spoofing by masks or photos.

iPhone 10 Price
The iPhone 10 is by far the most expensive that Apple has ever released. The price is different for a 64GB version which is $1099 and if you want the 256GB version, you have to pay up to $1249. Considering the technology and features, iPhone release date 2017 price seems quite fair because it caters everything that everyone wanted for a smartphone. Let’s say the no-bezels display, face ID recognition, no home button, all glass design, wireless charger, and more. The iPhone 10 is now widely available in stores. However, expect the new addition to the iPhone X family because there will be more to release from Apple.
