Apple reportedly asked one of its manufacturing partner partners, Wistron, to suspend production of the iPhone 8 Plus. This is done because Apple suspects something is wrong about the use of components that are not appropriate.
Reported Softpedia:production of the iPhone 8 Plus at the Wistron plant in Kunshan, China, reportedly has been suspended for two weeks. This suspension begins with an investigation by Apple regarding the alleged use of a number of waterproof components from unauthorized suppliers.
Apple's so far has not yet issued a statement on the alleged.However, according to reports, Wistron has submitted his denial.Wistron's representative even claimed the production process is still running normally. No unauthorized components are used in iPhone 8 Plus production.
