of people use this innovation technology from Apple called Siri. Nevertheless,
this personal digital assistant Siri has been one of
innovations that originally invented from iPhone. Despite it’s a small
innovation behind all those sophisticated technology from Apple, but Siri
surely brings something that differs iPhone from other smartphone. Let’s find

Siri is a
personal digital assistant that becomes a part of Apple operating system
including iOS, macOS, HomePod, watchOS, and tvOS. Siri uses voice queries and
interface that adapts individual language user interface that works as
intelligent assistant in virtual version. It can answer questions, perform
actions, and make recommendations.
Looking back at
the history behind its invention, this Apple personal digital
assistant Siri wasn’t actually invented by Apple. The co-founder of
Siri are Adam Cheyer, Dag Kittlaus, and Tom Gruber who working under a project
in Stanford Research Institute (SRI) Artificial Intelligence Center. In
February 2010, Siri Assistant was introduced as a voice assistant app for iOS.
Right two months later, Apple acquired Siri and integrated it into iPhone 4S
which later released in October 2011. Soon, Siri became an integral part of all
Apple’s products.
Starting out
with iPhone 4S, Apple turned Siri into a more sophisticated voice-activated
personal assistant that can sync into all your Apple’s devices. Siri is
integrated into built-in features in iPhone, multilingual capabilities, an
audible voice, and more features. Even in iPhone 6, Siri can do further with
booking dinner reservations for your date and check a review from latest
movies.
How Apple
Personal Digital Assistant Siri Works?
The virtual
personal assistant Siri works by using a technology of voice or
speech-recognition to recognize your commands. The voice activation is also
designed to make Siri can mimic human intelligence and do natural conversation
with the users. The system allows Siri to work on the phone’s processor while
communicating with the cloud servers to interpret your request and retrieve the
information by online. That allows you to be able asking Siri, like asking your
personal assistant, for example, open apps, make a call, send messages, find
photos, find information, and many more.
However, Siri isn’t
designed to perform more complex commands such as editing video or photos.
Moreover, Siri is working better in quiet area. It’s not ideal to give commands
to Siri when you are in hectic or noisy environment which can mix your voice
command to the voice around you.

“Shortcut” features, iPhone Siri knows how to make your daily activities
easier. In Shortcut library, you can do multiple things from multiple apps. For
example, when you say “Heading Home”, Siri will find the fastest route to home,
start playlist, and many more at once. Or, when you want to go on trip, you can
say “Trip info”, Siri will find flight and room details to be in your
itinerary.

powerful commands to go
Not only simple
tasks as mentioned above, Siri even able to go with more powerful tasks. For
example, you want to go out for dinner at 8PM, Siri will give recommendation for
nearby restaurants and later book a reservation for you. You can also ask Siri
to find your last summer photos or last week presentation files. Or, when you
struggle to find where you park your car, Siri will locate it for you.
There are still
more can be done by Siri, but those mentioned above can highlight the
